This boat is an ongoing project that is being undertaken by students on the BTEC National Diploma in Boat Building & Design at Pembrokeshire College. It was initially designed using MaxSurf software and the frames for the building jig were cut out on a CNC Router in 2001. In 2002 the hull has been constructed from marine grade plywood, foam has been cut, shaped and then enclosed in GRP to produce spray rails; buoyancy, steering and storage calculations have also been undertaken.
