Is there also available the .stp AP214 or .sat or .x_t format? It is much better to work with volumes instead with surfaces.

no, there was only IGS files on the CD, the entire contents of the CD is now here in the CAD Blocks section. I can only suggest you use translation software to try and convert them to your prefered file type.



BRP may have other file types but this is what they sent me. It may be worth your while to contact BRP and ask what they have available.

Dear Splint,



I have converted it into a .stp AP214, but of cause that doesn't change the quality. I think the models are generated from the original CAD-files by highlighting the outer surfaces. So the output is a very very good and detailed model, but with a hell of caps. I have uploaded a 3D-PDF with a .spt AP214 file as an annex towards
