I may not be in any majority here, but when I see these unadorned "rocket ship" sterns that look like someone took a digital hull model and sliced off the back end at a rakish angle I can't help but think "this, sadly, is the end". Especially if a let down from the rest of the boat. I guess they remind me of an old Clarkson quote from Top Gear where he wondered if they had run out of a budget for styling before they got round to the rear quarter panels.
