Wood Filler

Hi, ive recently bought a wooden trawler. THe hull has a few splits in it, any suggestions on preperation, a suitable filler etc....

Not really sure the best way to tackle the problem.

if it's above water and painted elmers or lapage will do the job, if your varnishing linseed oil mixed with sawdust is a classic(use the dust from other repairs), this also works for submerged areas, I personally find epoxy fillers a little priceee

ok

I dont mind spending the money getting it fixed really, i heard that davids p40 bridging filler was pretty good, any knowledge of this.
