Wood decking

Has anyone had positive experiance with any speices of wood other than teak for decking? I have been quoted between $50.00 and $55.00 a sq. ft. for teak decking lumber.

It depends on what you want. Pitch pine has been a work boat standard for generations. Not quite as durable as teak, but a lot cheaper. I can get you teak cheaper then that Jer, drop me an email.
