| Turning over a boat is always a grand affair, no matter how big or small. Congrats on a job well done BTW, not to hijack your thread, how do you live in that neighbourhood of yours . No high walls, devils forked palisades, electric fencing, burglar proofing, steel safety gates or man killer K9's?? Just joking, we once lived like you but is is a very distant dream and fast fading away ![]()

The roll over is a mile stone that I have been looking forward to for a long time. Now that the boat is on the trailer, I can just barely see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, despite what you hear on the news about how violent it is here in the U.S., it's really a relatively safe place. My 9 year old son roams the neighborhood freely without fear and if I forget to lock the front door, I don’t stress too much. But then again, we do have the ultimate security system… It’s called the 2nd Amendment; The Right of the individual to keep and bear arms. ![]()

In my state, we can shoot you if you're just on the property. You don't have to drag the body back into the house like in many other states. We in fact have large billboards on the interstates coming into the state, telling visitors about this new gun law. I personally only have seven weapons here, but this assumes you can past my dogs which don't like strangers.

Here in Sao Paulo I have a guard in a sentry box 15 paces away outside, a roving security patrol in cars and on motorcycles, 3 metre walls with a 6 wire electrical circuit on top right round the property, a fully alarmed house and a Rhodesian Ridgeback who lives in the garden year round. I cant do any more... but my neighbours were attacked 3 weeks ago by 3 men with guns who once in the house stayed there for 2 hours threatening to shoot the elderly couple. Who needs this **** huh when you have two young kids? Sorry to change the subject, nice boat, nice roll but the kid in the yellow needs to get a bigger pair of shorts.

I can see a light at the end of the tunnel... ... I just hope it's not a freight train. Here's a few pictures of the progress I've made in the past couple of months. The deck is African mahogany with maple inlaid between the planks. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
