Angel, I see your rudder idea as a great solution to a situation I encountered a couple of weeks ago. I was navigating the Hillsborough River using only the trolling motor and the stern was swinging quite a bit with every little turn of the troller at the bow. Fortunately the river was fairly placid with only a few gusts and few boats were out and about. I should have tightened the outboard steering stiffness lever but a passenger had moved to my tiller seat so I did not bother as we only had a short way to go.

My next task is to make some sort of brackets to hold the oars out of the way in exposed storage. Perhaps some sort of hooks will do. Any ideas or recommendations out there are?

No, I want to keep it inboard. I have an idea that should work. I will address the problem after I rebuilt the side walls of my Land Yacht.
