Cold and rain stopped the progress but now its warmer so should finish this week unless we get more cold and rain. All work is done outside so weather has an impact.

Thanks. It will combat squat and provide dry storage. I don't know the first thing about a sq hd main but assume it would need a mast. :)

And a yard and a bunch of drunken pirates sloshing around saying, "Avast yea matey." and other such nonsense.

Tho' a beach is probably better than a yard. Easier to walk on y'know. :p

Great progress on your skiff. I'm jealous. Can't wait to see 'er wet.

Merry Christmas to You and Family also Hoyt , now follow the sailors tradition pour yourself a good stiff shot of dark "Pussers" Rum or the Old U.S. Navy's equivalent, go out sit in the boat and "ave a swallie" :D--- Best of The Season ---Geo.

Hoyt, have you lost priority and sidetracked hanging curtains :D . We got our first frost three days ago from +48F to +12F in 48hrs. and our first snow yesterday 2in. However temp is back up to +34F today and sun is melting the white stuff. I'm a little short on shop firewood this year so don 't bother to lwork or light the fire in the shop when it is much below 20F. Just takes too long to heat up. Jan & Feb is usually our worst 2 months so boat construction will slow and inside house construction/repairs/touch ups will increase. Hoping to get the keel work completed and ready for ballast plus all those rubbing strakes removed and the hull ready for re finishing before spring. Santa was good to me a $100. gift. certificate to my fiberglass store (Burnside Fiberglass) plus a fiberglass kit that included a gallon of resin. So I must have been a good boy over 2014 Ha Ha ,

Sidetracked hanging stuff and fixing stuff but boat is done now except for getting the reg numbers on the outside of the hull and waiting for trailer documents from the state. Hope to launch soon if the house doesn't keep getting in the way. Appointment with floor guy just causes more delays.
