need the bearding line to better assess the hull lines. Where does hull end and keel begin? Could use a tad more shear too IMHO.

Hmm...I suppose I chose the wrong word. What I am looking for is a bit of shadowing to indicate the transition from hollow hull to solid keel...buttocks lines if you please.

Must be a lot of sole space if the floors are in forged iron.
I interfer and it is not my business, don't pay attention.

thank you for your comments Daniel,
forged iron floors are for sure advanced, but more cost, for i am used to wood,
maybe i could flush deck her,
i designed her at 11 metres, scale 1.25,
& then considered the amount of work to build her myself for our family was too much maybe,
so at 1.20, 9 metres , it is one of those rare scaled down designs that still works
so i shall have to start lofting
one day i hope to get a boat for our family
after working on other peoples boats for 40 years

yes the keel could be wider, but for simplicity it is the same siding as the stem

Keep us posted, it is a very interresting project, a real ship! Perfect for live aboard with your family.
Gives us some detail while building if you want. I love this type of boat.
Cheers
Daniel

It's been a while since I looked but I believe some of the Archer designs were flush deck. Having lived aboard a Westsail 32 (an Archer design spin off) for several years I think a flush deck would have made it difficult for long term comfort below but easier for on deck work.

You follow the Uffa Fox thought: if you can't really see where is the turn of the bilge, it is a good boat.
You designed a good boat
Need some fairing but that you knows it
