| New Project? 1958 43 Ft Richardson Motor Yacht Hello, thanks for taking the time to read my thread. This is what i am considering taking over for free. however I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a amature or novice person like as to what steps you would take if any on this boat. I have been doing alot of research and am wondering if epoxy would be used on this aswell? The major structural restoration work has been done, including a new stem, teak deck, mahogany transom, ribbing and hull planks. Unfortunately, the boat could not be finished and has sat due to the owner becoming ill. It's a solid boat, but requires a lot of work to finish. I am in no rush and will take all advice and help with open arms, and will post as many pictures as asked for. Should i take on this project? ![]() |

| That is for sure a question only you can answer! But to get a bit light on it: is it right to assume that the pictures provided show the boat before the steps you mentioned had been undertaken? |
