| need help with plywood boat next weekend I am in a boat building contest and we have to build a boat in 2 hours. and then be able to get 2 people to float and paddle it in a 1/4 mile race in the harbor. we are only aloud to use hand tools nothing powered. The supplies are given to each team the day of the contest: the supplies are : 2 sheets of four foot by eight foot 3/8 inch plywood, one sheet of two foot by eight foot 3/8 inch plywood, fourty feet of 2"x2", eight feet of 1"x2", 6 tubes of caulking compound and 2lbs. of 5 penny bright nails. also absolutely no duct tape allowed.
