MIA's 73 Silverton finally looks like a boat again I finally had the chance to take a few photos before the new winter cover went on. This is about three years work. Everything you can see with the exception of the hull itself and the aft cockpit "tub" is new. For those who are thinking of doing something similar this is a 25' boat. Enjoy and please don't be too critical! Oh, BTW....Thanks to everyone on this forum who gave council, advise or just sympathy during this long process. I'll always be grateful to all of you! MIA

Not much to be critical of Grasshopper. It could be the image, but you may have some roller lap marks on the fore deck.

RIght you are PAR. It was a warm day when I painted and although I started very early the paint flashed a litttle sooner than I'd liked. That non-skid doesn't look that great but it sure increases your confidence walking around on deck. A fair trade off for me at least. Regards, MIA

Wait for a day with good weather and lightly hit it again with some paint. You'll even up the sheen and possibly cover those lap marks. Isn't boat restoration fun . . .
