Very nice boat. Should be easy to transport and handle. What does it weigh? Do you cartop it or have a trailer?

For the size of it, it's pretty heavy. Too many corved surfaces to be car topped. I'll probally end up making a trailer for it. Need two people to carry.

Looks pretty darned good to me. But you need to color-coordinate your painter; that yellow line just doesn't cut it.

What materials did you use? Is it your own design, from a set of bought plans, or....?

Yes it is from a set of plans. Plyak is its name. Free on line. The side are 1/4" 5 ply plywood. 1/2" 5 ply for ribs. Top is white pine and red wood strips 3/4" w x 1/4" thick. Keel and keelson is made from 1" x 8" poplar

I googled Plyak, and found the plans at Svensons. Done per the material list in those plans, it would supposedly only have weighed about forty pounds. I'm not going to argue with your results though; it's a very pretty little boat.

How does it handle?

It would probally weigh that without seat, floor and if the top was made from plywood. I think I have at least 10lbs of paint on her......Hahahahahahah

She handles very well aginst and with the currents.
