| laminating ply Anyone used hoop pine ply, it is very stiff, like very! i have drawn a jig for our cab front, the tightest R is 500, (25in) 3 laminations,of 6mm So i dunno if will clamp around, my exp with ply structure is kinda not too much the two outside lines are the ply the two inside represent steel tube which will be made up as a bow the ply is only about 17 inches deep this is what i found, comments? Bending guide - all measurements in inches. plywood min across min with thickness grain radius grain radius 1/4 24 60 5/16 24 72 3/8 36 96 1/2 72 144 5/8 96 192 3/4 144 240 The table tells us 1/4 inch plywood sould bend into a 4 ft circle across the face grain and a 10 ft circle with the face grain. |

| Yes, it can be done, but you're right at the limits of bendability, especially with that species. Try draping towels over the plywood then pouring boiling water over them before and as you bend. |
