hybrid tunnel

hello, this is my first post on forums .please bear with me as i hope to improve my communication on these subjects.well,i am building a16 foot tunnel of my design or should i say imagination.i had looked at a lot of boat plan sites but frankly, most seemed a little dated and not very exciting .although it would be the safer method to go that route.TOO LATE NOW,ITS ALREADY STARTED.well anyway,it has been rather exciting seeing it slowly come to life.i have changed the profile of it 3 times, dont have much to do in winter anyway.i dont plan on getting really elaborate on fitting it out ,just the basics .i am planking the bottom now , my first question i have is chine devopment ,i have included chine into my cut stations ,does anyone know ifthis was the best way or should theybe added later? also, iwould like to post some pictures to better show my problems .can someone advise on this. thanks,

Thanks for the reply,I am refering to the chine log .The reason i call this craft a hybrid is the construction is a combo of frame station and stitch and glue. The keel and chine were set up to adjust the profile to my liking. And having no experience as to how my dimensions would actually look when they were screwed together ,an actual chine log could not have been added. The kit boats you see have the chine only as a parting line between bottom and side, there is no additional horiz. running surface there before sheathing,i assume it's added later or not at all.Plug toolers add this feature before sheathing, according to pictures and interviews given. So my problem is filling in the flat chine area to where it will still have rigidity in the areas between the frames. This is in the curving bow sections,I can add chine log to the flat aft. area.Would it be advisable to laminate plywood strips between the frames of these curving areas to back up the sheathing of the chine surface. If this a bit confusing, I apoligize.I dont know enough about this site to post a picture.Any ideas? thanx much nova
