how is this deck built, 1960 45 Connie

    Hi and new to this, My oldie, Connie, is still being redone. I have had little time to work on her.. So, what i like to know is how did CC build the fwd deck. On mine, i see it has (from inside bow state room) plywood, screwed from inside out and outside in. Then there is a plank decking, then they put a layer of canvas then another plank decking. So there are
    two layers of decking.
    One layer of plywood.
    One layer of canvas.
    Did CC build this particular yacht this way? or did some one decided to add more. any help on this is appreciated. If you have pics of how it looked before and after would be good.
