hickman sea sled

What scanaling numbers are used for hickman sea sled. I have "Elements of Baoat Strength", by Geer, and there is really no information on keel design for a hickman style boat.
Secondly I saw a life boat design that has similarities to Hickmans boat design, the main differences were sponsons with about 8 degrees of lift, and a flat bridge deck between the sponsons. The boat was large, and had a flat air scoop rather then the more complcated hickman style.
The boat looked real easy to build so it is a style i would like to try at some time, but i have fround no information on keel design.
Any info on this style of boat would be great.

Thanks

Thomas
