| Help with paint! Hello, I'm building a stitch and glue plywood dinghy and I need some help with the paint. I am taping the joints with epoxy and glass. Also I will coat the hull with epoxy, or at least the bottom of it, with what is left after taping. I will use polyurethane paint. 1. Should I use sth. between epoxy and PU? will PU stick well to it? Or should I need some in between? I want a cheap solution. 2. Will PU stick well to ply? (possible uncoated areas) Thanks in advance. |

| I wouldn't paint un-primed plywood.

| Would recomend sealing the wood with expoxy, and then almost any paint, including latex house paint, should stick to it. See also: http://www.jemwatercraft.com/forum/v...21&hilit=paint Rich S. |
