| No project/build threads would ever be intentionally deleted and I'm not aware of any glitch which would have caused it to go missing. I love seeing projects in progress. |

| Am impressed with the beer ratio, especially considering it is quite narrow. What are you running at,about 30 beers per foot? |

| I was wondering when you would get around to turning them in. California has a larger deposit and redemption value than most states. I used to pile my empties up until Christmas came, redeem them, and buy presents for the two boys. As I tried to explain to my wife, "I'm drinking this beer because I love our children." A very cynical, hardheaded woman for being so beautiful; she never bought it. ![]()

| Monday: Quick update...filled holes, scratches and gouges...sanded and glassed the bottom. I'll buzz down the edges and fill the weave tomorrow then flip it and start on the top. Still got to glue the deck down, make and install the combings, glass the deck, sand and paint the hull and glass the board. I also have to finish up the spars...I think they will be left raw until after the vacation...I only have 10 days to get things ready to splash it. I will probably only give it a couple of primer coats and a single coat of white then finish it after the vacation trips. Wednesday: Last touch up (weave filling) spots on the hull bottom done and one side of the Dagger board tacking up as I type. I'll know better by the weekend how much I will do to the deck before I leave. I may just glue it down and hit it with a coat of epoxy then a coat of primer and one of paint. Right now I am concentrating on the bottom so it will be waterworthy. I have to sand, prime and paint in the next 3 days...along with glassing the other side of the board and coating the spars. A couple of days in the sun shouldn't harm the epoxy too much and a good sanding when I get back will be needed anyways. I may even just leave the deck with a couple of coats of epoxy as a sealer and forgo the paint...less to sand down later. |

New toy...actually fairly old being a 1999 but almost pristine. Oh...and as far as the Spars go... Mental picture of wet sticks. |
