Hatch trim for cabin sole

I need some suggestions on how to trim the hatches in the cabin sole. I am putting down 1/4 teak and holly plywood over the existing plywood sole. There are 6 hatches and I want to protect the edges of the plywood. I am not wure how to do and keep the lines of the teak and holly clean.
