Gutters for Cockpit Hatch

What is the best design for drain gutters on a cockpit hatch? I plan on a large 30"x40" hatch and want the bildge to stay dry. I don't want to install just a gasket but rather a drain collecting system so I can drain the water overboard.

the hatch dont look that large so using a gutter and drain overboard on the low spot is common and works fine.
using 2 hatches you have to bolt and seal the middle alu U bridge on both sides. when building new why not a electric opening one...
