| Is Epoxy compatible with Glycol? Hi, I am planning to build a wharram Tiki 21 here in the Philippines. I've read that monoethylene glycol is a good preservative against rot. Would epoxy still adhere well to monoethylene glycol treated plywood? I need to apply fiberglass cloth/epoxy to the outside of the hull and coat the inside with epoxy. I am thinking about the glycol as an added precaution and added protection together with the epoxy/glass coating. Thanks! Tatoski |
