A better bet might be to try a posting on the forum at Classic Boat

The project never happened. We had a boat building class and a local pub called the Gallway Hooker. We were attempting to get the pub to contribute to funding but they weren't interested. Subsequently the class folded. Sorry can't be more helpful. Good Luck.

never was any plans for the hookers, they were built by eye, they would dig two holes and then place posts in them this was the lenght of the keel, simple boats

Just designed this one on computer! All parts are templated apart from the planking. Can send Autocad drawings that can be printed of full size onto film if required.

Had a 'search' on the internet and no luck! Would be interested in seeing something about it.

My apologies somehow got my wires crossed the article was actually on Loch Fyne skiffs. They look very similar in lines actually probably why I confused them.

Nice looking boats too! Something about small fishing craft, simple and honest but the lines just flow and they sail well. Nice film of them racing in Galway, Ireland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb7EB...eature=related
