Nah, tried that - Qcells are just that bit cheaper and you dont get the kids going around licking the decks.

Sam Devlin suggests using wood flour (very fine wood sandings) to mix with epoxy to make, it thick. He says "if you cant get it at your epoxy supplier, goto the nearest big bakery, where they will sell you a bag cheap. Its used to put the fibre in bread."

If you go to www.ecopoxysystems.com, you can buy an epoxy that is made from peanuts.

It won't be long before starving sailors will be able to eat the boat when they run out of food, instead of each other.

Perth in the West, is not a place where you would find a lot of timber boats.

I would like to build a timber boat one day but the main obsticle I have is the cost of the sealers, glues and fillers that are available.

I would like to know if they are cheaper in the East and if it would be worth my while purchasing it from the East and shipping it over.

I purchased some this morning from BCF, International Epiglue 175gms $32.99
this works out to $188.50 per kilo.

Could you please advise me what price you are paying on the East coast.

Thanks

Poida
Its only exspensive of you have to do the job more than once !! And when you over mix and waste what you are using !!
Epiglue ??what wrong with west epoxy . its used for everything !! and much cheaper in the long run !!!Think a little and maybe save a lot !!
