| conventional materials??? what is up with using conventional house building materials to build a small boat....toxicity, how to seal rot? any ideas thanks adamanderr@hotmail.com |

| Boat is not only a house House need watertightness at top only.For your Boat at the bottom and sides. So materials are different. You need different properties to withstand the water pressure from bottom and sides. House is not mobile. Boat needs to be strengthened for this also. Fiber glass covering will prevent the rotting. | If that conventional building material meant wooden planking..than I don't see any problem, if that is cement..should be no problem too..Can you please be a little bit more specific? |
