DANGEROUS!

Cobalt naphthanate (CoNap) is highly reactive. It is meant to be mixed in a batch of neat resin (resin with no other additives) in the proper ratio before any other additive is put in, like catalyst (MEKP, BPO). Consult manufacturers instructions. It is used to control cure time, I don't think it will really affect adhesion.

CoNap is used on the surface of Airex foam core so that the resin right at the core boundary will start to harden before the styrene in the resin (usually 45% of the mix) starts attacking the core, which otherwise would dissolve.

Also, CoNap when mixed with catalyst will EXPLODE with disastrous results. DO NOT KEEP CONAP ANYWHERE NEAR CATALYST--THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. If you want to blow up and burn down a manufacturing plant, pour some catalyst on top of a drum of resin, then pour CoNap on top of the catalyst. You will not have time to get out of the way!
