Best Woodworking Tools for Boatbuilding?

Tools that are truly the best are easier to use and far easier to teach (or learn) with.

 

No such thing. A tool is nothing more than the extension of a user's limb. A piece of crap tool in the hands of a hack craftsman, will have predictable results. The same tool in the hands of a skilled craftsman, will yield excellent results, though they may curse about the quality of the tool.

 

I didn't say a word about the results. Teach more. You'll learn a lot.

 

I like boating ,my boat building is to lower costs , so my favorite tool is the 6x48 sander.

Fine woodworking is great if THAT is your hobby.It is NOT mine.

I just want everything to for well, and go sailing.

 

Im a chain saw guy myself, sharp blade and a skilled hand can do any job with a chain saw

 

I'll go with the chainsaw also, but add a nice glop of thicken epoxy and some very sharp sandpaper.

If it doesn't fit, fillet and the extra is removed.

(Secret: Avoid putting on too much fillet.)
