Impressive to see that you make such effort ! Chapeau !

I asked my friends here if they did wrong side up and was told that they almost all started that way!?!?....several years ago..........then went to QUOTE: the easy way...!?! QUOTE I know most of them started with photocopies of the "Gougeon Bros." bible.
The bigger boys in that business here (producing about 1100 metric tonnes of wood epoxy boats p.a.) know about efficiency and they claim to save about 3% of manhours doing it upright.

Altough I never built a floating item myself, after nearly 36 years of yachting, some 980 metric tonnes of yachts, custom built, for my personal use, and about 110 tonnes under construction (not for me) at present, I feel permitted to state, that I tend to trust in the experience of the shipwrights feeding their children daily by the way they do.

Back to the issue:
I am absolutely sure that no one on this platform can assist you better in case of turning the sampan than Wynand! He (from my point of view) has to live from the fruits of his job. So he does it right today, to have the right tomorrow doing it again.
