Arcangeli Jolly

Hello all,

I m going to start a Jolly Arcangeli restauration, in France.
I have find the boat (N234) in a very bad state, and she need a complete restauration.

I have also no outboard engine.

So I search all what I need for that : (in spite of the fact that i surf on the web since around 6 months for finding ....nothing o so few) :
Plans, photos, files, docs, advertising, etc,
Any help will be very important for me,

So thanks a lot in advance

I live 15 km from the Arcangeli boatyard, on Lake Garda. I believe they are no longer producing these beauties, but are doing repair and restoration works. So, if you want I can try to contact them and see if they have plans of your boat and/or other useful info to share.
Cheers!

Thanks first for your fast answer ! ! !

Due to the (small...)informations I have, They have stop the arcangeli production at the end of 60' to only do maintenance, and now restoration as you suggest,

I think I will not need a boatyard for doing the restoration (it's already organised), but I confim that i need and I search plans and all usefull information about this model.

IF it's possible to have information about this one, it will be great (!)

Thanks again a lot ! !
Best regards,

Olivier,

Mr. Alberto from Arcangeli boatyard has told me that you have already contacted him (a gentleman from France, he said - so I guess it was you ) in search of info. However, the current boatyard doesn't have any more Jolly plans left because his father, the founder of Arcangeli boatyard, has destroyed all the plans, manuals, pics etc. of his boats when he decided to shut down the production.

So, you'll have to redo everything piece by piece by taking measures of what is left in your boat.

If it can be of some help to you, there's a website about Arcangeli boats and restorations, which has a showcase of several Jolly rebuilds, so you might be able to get some more info and perhaps few drawings from them. Here it is: http://www.arcangeliboats.com/

Keep us informed and post some pics from time to time.

Cheers and good luck!

jolly

First :

A GREAT thank for that , and for your time.
If all were destroyed, it can explain why nobody found nothing about Jolly..

It's a pity, but it's like that,

Anyway, I will go on searching, because i keep hope to find things realeased by the boatyard, and kept from these times,

Thanks again, and see you later for this Jolly restoration,

Hello,

First at all, nice boat, you have probably chosen one of the most beautiful outboard boat...hahaha.

Actually, I am also living in FRANCE (not so far from Lons le Saunier 39), and I am also restoring an ARCANGELI super Jolly Outboard That I have purchased in November (2010).

The boat is capsided and I am taking away rotten plywood. Hardware have been removed...

As explained by Daiquiri, ARCANGELI shipyard cannot help us, Hans (From arcangeliboats.com told me the story...). Nevertheless, HANS did a great job by adding pictures, restoration folders on his website... it may help you.

If you need pictures or other things, I would be grateful to help you.

Regards

Aurelien
