Are you sure that they are tools? They look remarkably similar to fishing rod holders that you might attach to the ceiling of an inside cabin.

Other than that I have no idea.

I'm guessing these aren't tools, either.

If you look closely at the largest one and the smallest one, they have a centered mounting bolt to mount the flat side onto another flat surface. They appear to be parts of some kind of holder for something that mounts to walls or ceilings.

Cue sticks for a pool hall? Fishing rods? Beer holders?

Give me good old plastic and spring boards made in China - some woodworking fanatacs dont know where to stop.

If these are standing blocks, the guy did a pretty bad job. There are stainless bolts sticking out of the sanding surface on the largest and smallest.

I thot that, too but the one has sharp edges where you wud hold it and none are particularly ergonomic. I printed the pic and will ask a wooden boat guy and a tool and die maker I know. Until that, I will assume PAR is not guessing.

If you think they are tools for working with wood boats, on Ebay there are some CD's for sale with boat plans going back two centuries.
You may spot the tool and it's use in one of those old books.

They look like "Holders" to me. Part of a set with a specific purpose in mind.
