| 40+ year old clinker restoration Hi, I'm just looking for some general advice - I'm considering restoring a 30 foot clinker launch built in the late 60s. The hull is apparently sound, but needs completely refurbishing and of course there could easily be hidden/unexpected problems with something this old, so I was wondering if anyone with a bit more experience could give me their opinion, and whether there are any well known problems you'd encounter with any wooden boat of this age. Cheers, Gus |

| If you know little about other boat building techniques or just want to learn,Then this is an opportunity for you to learn. (GET GONZO to look first.) Trying to repair a rotten boat is like pushing a stocking full of hot diarea up a ladder.
