| Mercury i/o turns no start? I have a 1994 maxum w/ a mercury i/o. It will turn over about 4 revolutions and then pause a second and turn over one more. I got it to start once and it ran really good but cant get it to start again. There seems to be a short somewhere on the boat also. When you hook up a volt meter to the battery it shows the voltage draining. Could this be trhe problem of why it wont start? Thanks Brian |

| Sounds like it could be a battery issue. A short would definetly draw off juice. They can be tricky to trace down at times. You need to make a friend with someone familiar with boat electrical systems. Maybe prime him/her with a case of good beer & some BBQ. Take care & good fortune. TGoz |
