Volvo Penta parts interchangeability

We are rebuilding an old, but now very nice, AQ200C powered Bayliner with a VP 280. Due to operator error we "exploded" the drive shaft assembly on the maiden voyage.

It looks pretty straight forward to remove the driveshaft, but finding the used part is difficult.

Does anyone know if the 280 and 270 share common driveshafts?

thanks!
