| Upper outdrive problem My engine started to make a clanging noise above 1500 RPMs. sounded like the valves were ready to jump out of the engine. When I pulled the boat out of the water and listened closer the noise is coming from the upper outdrive. Any ideas anybody..Thanks Just had a new water pump put in. doesn’t know if it had anything to do with it. 1985 mercruiser 3.7L engine  |
