resealing drive

My volvo sx drive is leaking and needs to be resealed. I have called a few places nearby (Corpus Christi, TX) and they are all telling me three weeks out.

I'd be even willing to drive a bit to get this done sooner but not sure where else to call.

Considering doing it myself but have heard it takes several special tools to do the job. Is this true and how hard is it? Also if anyone could recommend a shop.

Thank YOu
