out drive instalation

Hi guys
any one no were i can get a workshop manual to down load,to fit a mercruiser alpha one gen two 2"1 stern drive and transom shield as all i had in the box was a template no other paperwork ,

Do you need to cut the hole or just install it in the existing opening?
