Why bother it so easy to just take the heads off.

Really --a ring of bolts and its off, Ok maybe some coils in the way but not much more.

When you fit new gaskets torque them down again after its first day out.

mike jack frost is almost right but you have a gm 3.0L motor there first take off the exhaust and check for cracks if none found try having a machine shop pressure test it pay close attention to cylinders 2 and 3 if thats ok then pull the head on this engine it's pretty simple
