Hi All, new to this site, hope someone can help. I am converting my 34' cruiser
from shaft drive to stern drive. I am using the old-big Mercruiser III,the one with
1 1/2" shafts and swings a 20" prop. The drive is 25 1/2" C/L of input shaft tp
C/L of prop shaft. Can anyone advise me as to the height the cav plate or prop
should be above or below the hull btm? I am redy to make the transom cutout.
    Thanks,Barry

just treat it like any other std drive
34 ' boat with one drive would want to be levelish.
How heavy and how fast do you think it will go?
Make sure you have enough transom angle
Any old dealer should have his OEM manual showing the x dimensions for that package
