| help with outdrive hi im new to the forum. im looking for all the help i can get on the right outdrive i have been told to only use the volvo duel prop.. but no one can tell me witch one. i have a 26' stamas hardtop and i am putting in a cummins 4cyl. turbo diesel with about 200hp thanks for any help you can give |

| Mercruiser uses Cummins engines so it should be a straight hookup. With Volvo you will have to make adaptors. Diesel outdrives have an epoxy coating in the exhaust because of the more corrosive fumes.

| Go with the Merc unit. They are inexpensive, reasonably reliable, not a lot toys & whistles and your grandmother knows how to work on them. |
