| Expected fuel consumption? I have a diesel Volvo 6 cyl (no turbo). 1984 vintage. Probably a 270??? I am developing a fuel plan for a first time trip DOWN the Ohio/ Mississippi Rivers. I'll have an expected 5 mph. current helping me. This is a 42' Gibson houseboat. This will be a laid back, no hurry trip. What MPG can I expect? Toral route milage is 600 miles. Thanks,
