Carter/Weber AFB for marine I just finished rebuilding a 5.7 liter chevy from a C-3500 truck. It runs very good but I am woried about it maybe runnning lean. I have no reason to suspect this other than the norm for me. I remember the Q-Jet being adjustable needles that can be bent to allow for richer mixture. Does the AFB have this feature? Am I worried for no reason? Love to hear responce on this matter. Kevin

Read the plugs to see if your running lean. Light brown is nice white is lean, black is rich. Never try to guess. Facts only.

Only 4 hours on engine. Plugs still look new. Is this enough time to get an indication using plugs?
