| Which Bravo? (The I, II and III series are different internals, and the XR is different again). Have you been abusing the drive? Such as running it while in the tilted-up position? (This shreds the driveshaft joints and puts a lot of stress on the bearings.) If not, I wouldn't expect much trouble unless you have put the wrong drive on. I would normally expect to see a II series if the boat is a big cruiser, or an XR if it's a fast boat, with this motor. I seem to recall the stock B-I warranty is for up to 500 hp 500 ft.lb, but don't quote me on that as I don't know for sure.

| Bravo specs Thank you for the reply It is a bravo 3 on a 9000 lb inflatable and it is been blown in 280 hr. The think is that i can't find anywere specs about bravos writing for the torque that they can handle. |

| 600 lb ft torque Thanks Eduardo The yanmar 315 produces 600 lb-ft at 2800 rpm IT makes me wonder why the bravo official specs dont mention anything about the torque that the drives can handle. Anyway, looking for an arnesson , there is one that replaces bravos without moving the engine. what do you think about it ? thank you for the reply |
