bad tilt trim line

one my tilt trim lines on my omc cobra outdrive has a leak in it .do i have to pull alot of parts to get to the fitting block\ on the transom i followed the line to behind the steering rack. to try and see the distubution block..is it a lot of work or is there a fitting i can install if i cut the line i.e. compression fitting.......
