6Cyl Ford Falcon to 280T Leg (adaptor plate)

Hi,
I have an old Volvo AQ170B (petrol) with a 280T leg, on a 22 ft Cresta Craft. The 170B engine is on its way out, and Im looking at replacing it with a 6 cyl (petrol) Ford Faclon Engine. The models that Im considering are engines from Falcon models of EA-EF and EL, that is from 1989-2002. Im wanting to hear from anyone that has done this, and knows where I may be able to purchase, or get an adaptor plate made to fit the the old Volvo bellhousing to the ford engine, or any other way to connect the Ford engine to the 280T leg.

Any help greatly appreciated
