did you read the article where all parties had a meeting in France and all had to sign a confidentiality contract on any information gained.

This is normal practice when there is a legal dispute or a potential one.

Thanks, it will be an interesting reading.

Was it maybe better to put this one into the thread about yacht Yogi sinking, rather than creating a new one? We were discussing the possible causes of the accident backe there, so this document appears to be a natural continuation of that discussion:

lots of important stuff not working before the leak
no comms to engine room, no bilge alarms, a bit of water and it rolls over
was this boat a **** heap/experiment by a inexperienced yard?

my best guess from the report:

a poorly engineered drip tank, providing a set of communicating tubes between 3 stern compartments, one develops a leak, flooding all 3.

plus a set of otherwise non-lethal issues with alarms, and comms, pumps, poor engine + systems installation

= recipe for desaster for a yacht that was walking on the edge of stability from the beginning....
