VCG prediction for an open deck fiber boat?

Can someone help me how can I predict the vcg for a 10 meter fiber boat totally open, without deck?

Thank you!

1) For each component of the boat, multiply its mass by the height of its centre of mass (or volume, or area for panels) above some reference line.

2) Add these for all components.

3) Divide by the displacement.

If the above does not make sense, find a good book on naval architecture (or on first-year physics) and read it.

if you put the basics of your boat into the design programme Carene (very simple to use ) available at www.epoxy-resins.co.uk it will calculate the centre of mass for you mark it on the drawing and give you the displacement
