| Granted Dina is bearing the load of an oppressive government's actions on this forum, which isn't very fair. I have some very informative, Israeli based links if they'd be interested. |

I don't make this stand lightly, but have you talked to Arab and Persian nationals? It's unlikely the OP will return, but do yourself a favor and talk with first generation Arabs and Persians about their views. They are as normal as anyone else, right up until you mention a Jew, then their true mind set emerges. Ask what precautions the US military takes with it's Jewish personal over in this part of the world. It's unbelievable until you actually speak with them. You'd think you tossed a few hundred years in the fire. Simply put, do you know why India and Pakistan were permitted to develop atomic weapon systems? Because it's believed they wouldn't use them arbitrarily against their neighbors, prominently Israel. Why do you think Iraq's reactor was bombed in 1981? Why do you think Iran's current attempts will be thwarted when the time comes? All the same reason, the first bomb they make, will be placed on a missile and sent to Tel Aviv. There's no question of this and it's the stated goal, of most of the Arab and Persian nations, to wipe Israel of the face of the earth. Now, I'm not Jewish, but I'm too familiar with this type of mind set. I've yet to met a single Arab or Persian that didn't have this middle ages mind set. I'm sure there are some, but I don't think they speak publicly about their views. |

| Oh, one more thing before I leave: Dina has activated the possibility to receive e-mails at his profile page. He will probably and understandably not get back here again, but if someone wants to help him privately, that could be a way. |

The question has to do with whether we can be accurate in judging who is and who is not responsible for the acts mentioned, and whether this forum is the place to judge such affairs in the first place. My belief is that we can't accurately judge individuals simply on the basis of their geographical location in Iraq. In the interest in promoting better relations between our two peoples, we should welcome positive discourse with each other in order to establish that before anything else, we all have the ability to secretly disagree with our own governments. Do many Iranians fear reprisal enough to shut up about their true beliefs? I would guess that do. I know that if I were Iranian, given the way I think, I'd completely disagree with my government. I would therefore feel awkward (and angry) when not only was I being told my beliefs were faulty, I would also avoid embarrassing my government for fear of reprisal (loss of my keyboarding fingers,etc.). |

| PAR, get your head out of the sand, the Israelis murder hundreds of woman and children, their fascism is appalling and so is the wests approval. They are the Nazis of the Middle east and we tolerate their monstrous behaviour for power in the region i.e. OIL. it's sickening. The radicalisation of islam is simply the response to their oppression. http://i.i.com.com/cnwk.1d/i/ne/p/20...rlsignbomb.jpg |

| It doesn't seem likely at this point that there will be much more discussion of L/B ratio in this thread (or stability since it is posted in the stability forum or boat design even), and so it's probably best to draw this particular thread to a close. I think Daiquiri said it well: Quote:
