The legend of the sea anchor or a seabrake for low pressure system.

Everybody knows the utility of them, but could anybody talk about trough his own experience? Better delta,seabrake,galerider or Bu-Ord or maybe better a sea anchor (parachute or whatever)?

How is their influence in the sailboat's stability?
