Keel installation on a sailing cat

Aloha,

Anyone out there knowledgeable on keel placement on a 36x18 sailing cat? I want to eliminate the lee boards. I am concerned of the proper location relative to the physics of the boat.

Appreciate any good advise.

A fixed fin(s) cat? Determining where they should live is a reasonably easy task for a designer. There are very general rules of thumb, but the year, make, model and rig options of the yacht need to be known for any real assistance.
