How do I correct a potiential yaw problem?

I read that flat bottom boats experience yaw problems when hit off center by even the smallest wave or wake. How can this be avoided? My boat will have 2-2x2 inch strakes/skegs running along it's bottom. Here's a pic for reference.

I would have thought the slab vertical sides would give you enough directional stability.

Just a thought, when the built the first volkswagon van, it had sharp side like this boat. The could only get it over 50mph. Just by rounding the edges, they got it to nearly 70mph.

You might think about doing a bit of rounding on the leading and trailing sharp angles for a bit of extra performance.
